The Language of Colours
“Boost Morale, Decrease Tension and Increase Cooperation Between Your Staff and with Staff & Client Stakeholder Interactions”

This presentation likely revolutionized my communications skills. It was educational, engaging, and admittedly very fun! Ferenc is an effective presenter and the concepts were simple yet extremely beneficial. It was great to learn about myself and be able to recognize my own strengths and weaknesses while also discovering how others communicate and how I could improve my skills! 10/10!

2024 Lands Conference. Government of Alberta. 200+ participants
So what is the Language of Colours?

It's roughly a 1-hour fun, dynamic, interactive presentation that WILL have participants connecting better with the other participants in the room, their spouses or partners, and pretty much anyone they come in contact with if they apply these simple-to-use concepts.

The concepts are pretty simple. Recognize your own colour. Recognize the colour of the person you are interacting with (this is what other training usually misses). Adapt your communications to the colour of the person you are interacting with. Easy-peasy.

And it is easy! And fun! And I guarantee participants will be talking about colours days, weeks and probably even months and years after the presentation.

One HUGE benefit to doing this in a groups setting is that everybody self-identifies what colour they are. This means other participants don't have to determine what colour the other people in the room are, they can see which group they are in. They then can start dealing with the other person in a much more harmonious manner. Instant results!
For this reason, when I do this as part of an event, I always suggest that I am early in the agenda as it gives participants the rest of the event to practice (and also give some good natured ribbing) with other participants.

If you are interested in possibly having me deliver this for you, please just reach out to me. I don't publish a price simply because I change it based on a number of things such as number of participants. I truly believe in win-win solutions so let's just chat and see if we can't work out something that works for both of us.

Best way is to shoot me an email.

Cheers.

PS.
You may have taken some colours or personality type training before. This is probably way different. Let's chat and I can tell you how.

It was great to hear about these different personalities and see where my team members differ. Fun interactive presentation!

Helpful to see where our team members split out into the different colours, unsurprisingly with the descriptions you gave of each group. I noticed a coworker already altering their way of interacting with me to accommodate my colour and it made me feel appreciated for who I am!

I missed the conference, but my team members who did attend passed on some learnings- I'm especially interested not only in understanding our individual styles better, but also how I can more effectively adapt my own style to better align with those of others.

What a perfect insightful keynote presentation to bring flavour, color, and interactivity to a group, no matter the size! Awareness of the traits that people in your life have and your ability to create an environment for them and for you to thrive in feeling heard and seen is a skill set I look forward to applying on the daily!

People are complex it's true. While labelling people as 'types' can be problematic it can - if done right- also add a layer of simplicity in navigating day to day interactions with others and I'm here to say: Ferenc's presentation was done right.
The event - simple in content and respectful in delivery - not only helped me gain insight into my own behavior, it also left me feeling better equipped to handle what I once saw as complex and/or nuisance interactions. To accept the (obvious/not so obvious) conclusion that everyone has their own way of seeing things but also leave with the the optimistic feeling that meaningful relationships are still possible - particularly in a challenging work setting - are valuable lessons to take away. Thank you Mr. Scobie.

Mr. Scobie's presentation was very good. He got us to group ourselves into the four corners of the room by defining our characteristics. It seemed to work well and although not everything lined up it seemed to help us understand our own group and the other three groups. It has me thinking as its simpler than myers briggs and some of the other personality testing frameworks.

Hi Ferenc,
This presentation was absolutely one of the highlights of our conference. Many attendees spoke about how much they enjoyed it and found value and practicality in it. They also enjoyed how well you presented it, and you knocked it out of the park! You are easy to listen to and made it fun, as you always do. thanks so much for doing this for us. I wish you much success presenting it to others. I for one will use the cheat sheet often I'm sure...Hugs to you from a real yellow, "Yellow".
